The Berry Company, publisher of the official telephone company Yellow Pages, announced that residences and businesses in Anchorage have received the new 2015 directory, and Anchorage residents can now drop off outdated directories for recycling.
The annual Think Yellow, Go Green program kicks off at the Anchorage Summer Solstice Festival on June 20. Berry has partnered with Fred Meyer stores, University of Alaska-Anchorage (UAA) and Alaskans for Litter Prevention (ALPAR) to collect directories through the end of July. Telephone directories are 100% recyclable, so be sure to look for the bright yellow bins outside any of the drop locations listed below. Help us keep old phone books from ending up in the landfill.
